Land of the Free, Home of the Brave

     We are the land of the free and the Home of the Brave.  How much longer will this be true.  Each day I become more and more aware of just how limited I have become by the very govenment that is supposed to represent us.  The government is supposed to be an extension of the people’s will.  Every time I look at the state of affairs (no pun intended) in our government I see another freedom is slowly being erroded.  The Patriot Act allows the government to invade anyone’s home on the pretense of “terrorism” and hold them for “questioning” indefinately.  There is something inherently wrong with this!  

     If you are interested in stopping the slow errosion of your rights as an individual in this nation, join me in speaking out.  This page is here only so that we can start putting our heads together.  I will continue to absorb and read up on the things happening in our nation via the internet mostly from people other than the official media (they are corrupted).  I urge anyone reading this who is interested in American remaining a Land of the Free and Home of the Brave to be Brave and join me by leaving some contact information here in a comment.  The people and powers of this world that want to use and abuse the rest of us for personal gain hide behind secrets and lies.  We need to be brave enough to stand directly in the light so that there are no shadows for those to hide in.  We have the internet with which to communicate and as I hear it, the level of freedom we enjoy on the internet today is under fire from the Government.  They are slowly sensuring us more and more, making it harder and harder for the average man’s voice to be heard among his peers.  If we can not communicate, we can not organize.  If we can not organize, we are that much easier to control.  If we loose our right to bare arms, and I don’t mean walk around in short sleeves, then the only people who will have them are the criminals and law enforcement, the very two groups that are slowly removing your rights to begin with.

     If you don’t feel safe in your own home it is because you have given your right to defend yourself over to the government and they can no longer be trusted to really have the best interest of the masses in mind.  Our government has become one Of the Elite, By the Elite, and For the Elite.  If our government was Of the People, By the People, and For the People, I could feasibly run for office and I would not have to campaigne because I could reach out to everyone right here.  My friends and family would talk about me.  People would here what I have to say and they would be able to make their own decisions free of the Spin the Media tries to put on everything.
